Concept
To create a visual experience of human impact on the marine environment and evoke humans to actively reduce their wastage, recycle and reuse.
Concept Presentation
This exhibition was based on the water pollution in Hong Kong and bioluminescent planktons – the Noctiluca scintillans – that bloom in areas that are rich with pollution.
The idea
Our concept begins to explore the impact humans have on marine life. We had sketched out various schemes to signify our objective, and we had planned on having several light orbs that are scattered across the room. Including a navigational path to guide users across the middle of the space, we wanted the users to be encapsulated with blue lights.
